Default How can I reduce BEN Map values by 50%?

I am tweaking my VE Table and only want to apply 50% of the BEN Map changes? Is there an easy way to do this within EFI?

Easiest way I could think of is to create a custom PID. You could also do a little magic in Excel.

    Normal BEN equation = "WBO2/GM.AFR"

    50% BEN equation = "1+(0.5*((WBO2/GM.AFR)-1))"

There are several threads that show how to make custom PIDs. The most recent one was the Fuel Economy thread in the Scanning Forum.

i have a spreadsheet for it somewhere where it leaves the values alone if they're within -4..0% of the target value, and it scales more for larger errors and less for smaller changes, as i've seen a lot of overshoots. the good part about not aiming for a perfect one but leaving it within the 4%, is that once it's all there, it's really good material for smoothing. i'm also working on a version that will do more magic on edge values, as i find these values be very 'mathematically challanged' and not good data for tuning.
