    Default no more Vortec PCM!

Finally got around to converting the vortec PCM to the 0411 99+ PCM.
    Much better!
Took around 3 hrs to complete.

Cool, if only the 1998+ F-body guys could do it so easily.

    Cheers,
    Ross

    Hi Ross,
Exactly what does F-body mean? I've seen this talked about alot.
There are alot of guys converting from 97 & 98 to the 99+ 0411's.

The F-body refers to GM's way of labeling chassis. The F-car is a Camaro or a Firebird.

Any idea if this swap would work on an OBD-II LT1? I would so like to tune my Cutlass......

    Don't know Dave...anything's possible.
I have seen mention of the 0411 swap in other vehicles on different forums.
I think I just did a search for "0411 PCM".
    May be worth a try.
    Maybe you'll be the first!
