    Default EFILIVE and egr LBZ

    G'day guys.

I know you can disable the egr with efilive does that mean i can completely remove it from the engine i am having some clearance issues with my bonnet and will have to remake the inlet pipe into the inlet manifold. Need the room that the egr now occupies.

I do not need it to pass emissions.

    Just asking thanks heaps heath.

Yes you can completely remove it. I did on my LLY, same thing for the LBZ.

You'll have to make a plate to block the up pipe where the exhaust flows into it. You'll also need to extend the coolant hose. That's about it.

    Good luck.

2007 LBZ. What settings do you use to disable the EGR?

I poked around a bit on Diesel place but the stuff I found doesn't match up to what I am seeing in the tuning tool.

    thanks,
