    Default Normal/Performance/Hot/Cruise modes

What are they? What're the criteria for determining which column the PCM uses? Is it related to http://forum.efilive.com/showthread....rformance+mode this post, as in can you wire up a "track" switch?

    Default

Normal - Consider this the default shift pattern, ALL vehicles would normally use this.

Performance - Some vehicles have a 'performance' , 'sport' , 'Tow/Haul' mode, it basically just gives you an alernate shift pattern for better performance but probably get worse MPG.

Hot - If the trans has overheated this shift pattern will be used (not selected by the driver).

Cruise - Used when the cruise control is active.

    Cheers,
    Ross
