I have no idea why.
I was logging some data for my autoVE tuning and when I got to around 4200rpm the truck just died.
Any thoughts?

YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T
MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE
DUCT TAPE.
IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU'VE GOT AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.

Ran out of gas?
But seriously, does the truck restart?
Does it die again at a similar rpm, or was it a one off failure?
Regards
Paul
Before asking for help, please read this.
Howard,
You have to find out if you're not getting one or more of spark/fuel/air and then trace backward from there (is the problem mechanical, electrical, or is it the tune...?).
Is it repeatable, or does it also not start...?
Cheers,
Joe
Hi guys,
Burb still runs fine. As soon as it happened I backed off the accelerator and it just ran normal again. No problems since.
I'm pretty sure the truck's OK mechanically and electrically.
I haven't tried revving it to 4000 again yet. I rarely get to those rev's...especially whilst still tuning. I eased it to those rev's on the freeway...so I was going pretty fast.

Are you sure you were in SD?
Are your VE values somewhat 'sane' for 4,000 on up?
Have you checked for loose grounds?
What Mods do you have?

The tune listed as 0001 is the one I was running when it died.
After the attached log I altered the tune as per the tutorial (I believe...except, I forgot to alter the BoostVE table).
The second tune (0002_smoothed) isthe currently loaded tune which I have basically only driven on to the shops and back so far...so no logs. Please let me know what you see?

You need to remove your Vehicle speed limiter. That is what you hit.
"If you can leave a black mark on the pavement, from the exit of one corner to the braking point of the next one, you have enough horsepower."
Thanks Jesse,
I was looking through a few things and didn't see that.
I knew some of you guys could sought me out.
