    Default AutoVE

Ok , what is the pickle here , I just went over the AutoVE tutorial in 7.4.2 , and the COS3 B3647 values are quite different in the new tutorial .
At 95 and 100 Kpa in the old tutorial the values were 13.8 (95 Kpa) and 12.9 the first 4 cells and then 12.5 the rest (100 Kpa) respectively , the other values were 14.7 not 14.63 because that if I remember right 14.63 puts you in semi-open loop mode still using the O2 sensors .
So anyone who used the old tutorial is going to be quite off or is the new one ?

OK , maybe I asked this the wrong way , according to the AutoVE tutorial in 7.4.2 , the values for a COS3 in the B3647 table is 14.63 (stoich) which I understand would put you in a semi-closed loop mode using the O2s still (not good) and the rest of the values are rich in the upper MAP areas , will that not eschew the WBO2 numbers ?

Ya, you don't want 14.63 or or it will use short term fuel trims and you will not get accurate BEN readings. I put 14.7 every where except the last 3 column, where I'd use 13.8, 13.0, and 12.4 for the 100 kPa column if the motor is NA. For boosted motor, I run 11.2 in the 100 kPa column.

Good catch. !NB's prevents the short term trims in my case.

    Thanks guys,
I guess that just solved one of my issues.
Mine were set at 14.63 as per the tutorial.
I just reset them to 14.7....is that correct?

YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T
MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE
    DUCT TAPE.
IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU'VE GOT AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.

If you are using COS3 or 5 , yes that is correct , 14.7 takes it out of the sudo fueling mode and puts it in commanded so to speak and no O2 sensors .

Thankyou very much. Yes I'm using COS3 with the 0411 swap in my 98 Burb.
I've been having a couple of issues in the AutoVE area so this may solve some of those.

My OS does not have the {B3601} table , although the talk of the EQ ratio is interesting .
Yep , can change values from EQ to AFR and will add or subtract , entered 14.71 and converted to EQ got 0.99 , then converted back to AFR value changed to 14.72 .

Could it actually be possible that 13.8 is the peak power for some motors? Sounds lean!

    Or did you mean
    100 kPa
    12.4 AFR

    95 kPa
    13 AFR

    90 kPa
    13.8 AFR
