Default Interesting Boost VE map problem.

Under idle only conditions, my 105kPa column in the map shows a ben correction with 100's of counts. I have to delete this info when I multiply the VE table.

I can log an idle only and the typical 25-45kpa columns 1000-800 rpm show 0.99 to 1.00 bens......then the 105kpa shows 0.94 bens....

Are you starting the log before you start your car?

    I'll post a log tonight.

Not logging before the start....does it even if I wait for coolant to hit 170 before starting to log.

Not a problem since I just drop that column when tuning....just interesting to me.

Actually, I've noticed the same thing.
I wasn't sure what was happening at first. I noticed a count in the 10,000 range in the 105kpa column in one log. The attached log has a count of nearly 8000 in the 105kpa by 800rpm.
I see it when I look at the map of the boost VE table.

Can't open your file. Had the same problem using two seperate MAPs. Make a mAP like attach and you should be OK.

    hquick,

I was able to open your .zip file and view your .log file.

I can't see what you're saying... is that the right log, or is it just me...?

    Cheers

I think the problem he was having was that having 2 separate maps for BEN VE the boost VE map would populate all the data from under 105kPa in the 105kPa column since that was the lowest value in the map and there was data below it. That's why you only want to run 1 map, or have the boost table filter anything under 105kPa out.
