this is starting to get on my nerves now..right as i start my truck up, it will rev up to 2 grand and then within 3-5 seconds it back down to 700..any one got any ideas

Off the top of my head, startup airflow, startup friction airflow, idle flare control.
Is the intake air tract, sensor contacts, throttle body ect. all clean and in good working order? If so, then what TAQuickness said.
Most of the time I have seen this it is a mechanical maintenance issue.

nothin behind the throttle body leaks..i have a few ahead of the throttle body but thats not going to cause any problemsOriginally Posted by Maggie
