    Default 99 7.4L questions....

I cant get my EFI live to read the computer. I guess I don't know how to go about it. I don't know if the controller is supported or not. I thought it was.
If I hit check status it say it's fine. If I put 99and up it doesn't work if I put vortec L31 It cam up with a vin lock. How could this be?

I am not exactly positive but, I don't think the V1 can read that pcm? Maybe somebody can chime in.

v2 is needed for the vortec pcms. The communication protocal of the pcm itself was not compatible with v1. Ross tried, but it wasnt going to work.

What protocol do these PCM's use? Not CAN that old is it??

I had always thought it was the VPW.
