If the truck is the old style PCM, the calibration is in the PCM.
Is this new fuel tank a factory unit? If so some factory settings would be available in a like vehicle. If not you could start with the size of the tank. The sender if not stock needs to be compatable with the stock sensor output. If the tank has already been installed you can add fuel and check the resistance output of the sender and chart it to help working the tables.

Geoff, I think it is in the ECM, but we don't have any tank calibrations in the LBZ, you are the first one to ever ask, I would not have thought the request would come from an Aussie!!

    Cheers,

Default Another vote for the cal files for the fuel system

I was playing around with EFI today with a stock LBZ file from the library and noticed that there are no fuel cal file for the LBZ. I am getting EFI next week and in the near future would like to add a larger tank. It would be great to be able to recal the gage.

There was a good post on the Diesel Place about how to do this for a LLY.

    Thanks.

X3.... I was bummed when I found out that it isn't available for LBZ after reading how the other DMax guys did it (my MPG is WAY low too, I wanted to correct that as well)

Excellent, I haven't spent much time with the new version yet... Any update on the DIC stuff (specifically the MPG calculation)?

The cal. files are available for the late operating system LBZ, but the early operating systems don't have that option.
I did the change on a couple of the late systems, but of course my truck is the early O.S. It would be nice if that option were made available to the early's also.
    Thanks KDS
