how long to ship efi live ?

I ordered through THunder racing and its been 2 weeks . they have no idea when its coming and have not got a return phone call. Just wondering how long they usually take to ship out.


I am ready to get head deep into this thing


By the way, i have been on here looking and trying to learn this stuff along with browsing the tuning section at ls1 tech and look forward to asking you all a bunch of questions

Thanks. One question to start though. How do I view these files of tunes? do I have to have the efi program to see them now?

We don't normally call customers back on items we had to order until they come in. When you and I talked on the phone you indicated you were working and wouldn't need the unit for a couple of weeks. If you would have gotten in touch with me I could have let you known the status of your order.

BTW, the V2 should be here this Monday or Tuesday.

Thanks Geoff, I get off the boat on Monday . I talked to Todd at your shop and he tried to get ahold of someone at B&B i believe it is, no return call. I am not trying to rush you just trying to get an idea on if it will be in while I am off the boat next week.

If you call the shop today Angie can check the inbound UPS and let you know the exact day the V2 is scheduled to arrive. I am not at work today, so if you call talk to Angie. She is the one who actually ordered the unit and would know the exact status. When I called her this morning she indicated that she thought it would be here on Monday or Tuesday.

Even if you don't have the hardware, you can download the software from www.efilive.com/downloads and install it.

Then from the tunetool you can open the sample tune files:
File->Open tuning file and browse to My Documents\EFILive\V7\bins.

i am a newb, what part would I install to view some of the files? I went over all the tutorials but I see people posting their tunes and was wondering if that is what you need the tune tool plugged into the laptop to be able to see what others have >?

No, to see the tunes all you have to do is download the software from the downloads section on the main efilive.com page and then install it.
