    Default DFCO question...

could someone tell me the difference between b3308 > DFCO M6 Enable Temp 140
    &
    B3313 > DFCO Temp Enable 60
The main reason is that its working in this car I have been tuning yet B3308 set to 140 would seem to indicate that it won't work unless the temp is over 140 C but that is not the case cos If I set B3313 to 140 it stops DFCO from working....
    Thanks

Is the car a manual or automatic? Was the tune ever reflashed with a calibration from an automatic if it's a manual (or vise versa)?

M6 = maual six speed....so if it's an auto, you need to change B3313.

B3308 is the enable temp for DFCO during gear changes, when you let off the throttle in a car with a manual 6-speed. If this is set to 140 C, it's effectively disabling DFCO between gears, something you might expect if the car has an automatic. If it has a manual trans, set B3308 to 60 (or whatever value you like) to enable it.

Sorry to bring this back from the dead, but how does the PCM know that you are in the middle of a gear change? I have a Silverado that has been swapped from a 4l60e to a T56. I am still using the automatic tune (with some changes to remove various trans DTC's). The DFCO M6 is currently disabled, regular DFCO still works with the T56.

PCM sees the clutch pedal position switch.

My 2003 S10 M5 / LS1B PCM equipped has a stock 6 pin/wire clutch switch. It knows 3 positions of the clutch apparently. Did you get a stock clutch assy, swithc and wire it correctly first off?

The clutch is not wired into the PCM on my swap. Not going to bother. Thanks for the replies though!
