pcm licenced

My pcm is already licenced and has been working fine, I changed my gears and went to adjust for that and it want let me flash, 1st in said i needed a full reflash so i did that and now it says i need to licence the pcm, I'm running os5 with a v1, also when i read the pcm it doesn't show a vin, my battery went dead today, any help would be appreciated, thanks jason

Are you running the latest version of EFILIVE?
Can you read the PCM still with the cable?
There was an issue with the PCM serial number getting changed to 000000000 in a previous version of EFILIVE.
If that has happened, PM Blacky, Tordne or GMPX and they can help.

Some questions:
a. you had previously flashed ok, is this correct...?
b. were you already running COS5 or were trying to flash it in...?
c. were you using the latest software from here: http://www.efilive.com/download.aspx...?
d. was it your car battery or laptop battery that died...?
e. did the battery die during flashing...?
f. did you get your battery fixed...?

b. yes already had os5 running for 3 weeks
c.I have downloaded 7.4 but haven't installed running 7.3
d. car battery went dead while on the lift i think something was on inside, I recharged the battery for a few, but i then jumped it off
e. no battery didn't die while flashing
f. battery working fine now

Do you mean the VIN is 00000000000000000 or do you mean the PCM serial number is 000000000000?

If it is the VIN, you can easily reprogram the VIN using the Scan Tool.

If it is the serial number, then (using the latest V7.4.2) you need to do a full flash to allow EFILive to generate a new serial number. Once that is done, you will need to re-license the PCM the next time you flash. Then send me (paul@efilive.com) a screen shot of the license slots used/available. So that I can issue a replacement license for the extra one you will need to use. You can display that screen using tuning tool menu option help->FlashSCan V2 VIN licensing (or Help->FlashScan V1 PCM licensing).

I just put the vin# in the scan tool and the reread pcm when it was reading on the screen it showed vin but once it was done it showed 0000000 as the vin on cal screen. thanks jason

When you used the scantool to write the VIN, did you get any errors on the F12 Console tab...?
