Default Evaporative purge system not ready

    All,

The evaporative purge system SRT for my 2000 vette is showing as not ready even though I have zero DTC's (other than some related to the key fob). I need to get it inspected but this is causing the EPA readiness to also be set to not ready (I think). Anyone seen this before? I haven't had time to debug the solenoid etc but I figure'd I'd ask since there aren't any DTC's.

    TIA,

Are you running in open loop when you see it not ready? I believe the car needs to be in closed loop before the system will work.

I've only ever seen it not function when in Open Loop, however, we added a calibration to allow it to work in Open Loop too, or else it clogs up.

    Cheers,

See this is a old thread , I have ran into the same darn SRT code , did anyone ever figure out how to reset this SRT code ?
See it can be turned to "not reported" , but don't know if it will pass with it in that state .

    Thanks in advance

To get it to come ready, you have to set all of its codes to "Not Reported" in C6001 and to "MIL" in C6002.

Ops , forgot to say it was on the 05 truck PCM , seems some of the codes are expanded upon in the 05 PCMs .
So far this has not worked still trips SRT , evaporative purge system "not ready" state .
    Thanks joecar
