    Default Australian Visa

I havent been around for a while but the older hands will remember I had applied for a Australian permanent residence visa. Well I finally got it last week. Only took 18 months and a bucket load of money:(

So I will be visiting Brisbane later in the year maybe permanently

Because New Zealand has drinking water and stuff called rain.

In oz they drink their own urine and bake in the sun all the time. Some people like to experience the difference

    Yeah...but we have employment.
One of te Maori forkies at work was showing me some pic's of his recent trip home. Looking from his Dad's house...Front - a lake and pine tree's. Back - Fields and a snow covered mountain. I asked him "so why the hell are you here?". He replied "simple cuzz...no work back home".

Not true NZ unemployment rate is 3.8% Oz is 4.5%

    http://www.stats.govt.nz/products-an...07qtr-hotp.htm

    http://www.hrmguide.net/australia/jo...employment.htm

What he is talking about is the level of pay. Oz pays more for the same volume of work. Im guessing climate and tax rates also have an effect.

Plus NZ has a communist government while Oz has a right of centre one.

Same reason Im in the UK. I get paid more to do the same job. Plus I get to work with the worlds largest companies as opposed to the worlds smallest. If you like the challenge of large scale stuff then NZ is not the place to be... Unless you like a different type of challenge.

Now now. how did this get into Australia vs New Zealand? Both are 1st world countries without the attitudes crime and corruption we have here.
As far as I am concerned they are both better than here, Australia won because of the weather and the cars
