    Default 03 Impala V6 3800

    To read the ecm on a 03 Impala with the 3800 non/sc which one do i choose.
    Gen III? having problems reading it.

    You can't we were going to add support for them but between the E38/E67 and some other projects this has been pushed back, sorry.

    Curious about the 3800 support also,i've got the file for tunercat but wouldn't mind having an efilive version of it also.

    I can get my wifes '04 to read using the LS1 option-haven't logged anything yet or even played with pids etc.. but it connected with the Gen III LS1 option.
    I am tuning via TCII-datalogging with A-tap(which does NOT have a dyn/air pid.)

    The scantool will work fine on the 3800 V6 PCM, don't get that confused with 'Reading' the PCM, as in to tune it.

    Agreed, I have used EFILive for scanning for some time now, it works very well.

    Sorry,by reading I meant scanning-not reading the calibration.
    sorry for the misprint GMPX.

    If your interested in ever offering support for these or Ford vehicles let me know.
    I do some side stuff for various used lots and they allow me to download PCM's when needed.
    I'm also a Ford technician and can download plenty of their calibrations also.
