    Open 2 instances of the tune tool, one on 09381344, the other on 12212156;
    then copy all the tables from 09381344 to 12212156, table-by-table (somewhat tedious, takes about 1-2 hours);
    any missing tables or transposed tables will have to be dealt with somehow (post up here);
    when done, do a full flash of 12212156 (and then read it back into a new file and compare).

    12212156 is the stepping stone to COS3/COS5.

    This chart is fron the COS tutorial:

    It shows the GM OS id's and their corresponding COS id's.

    12205612 is not listed in that chart, so you will have to first convert to one that is listed
    (e.g. 12212156); this will make it easy to transition to the COS listed.

    12212156 has the advantage of giving you a choice of COS3 (02020003) or COS5 (02020005).

    12212156 is a GM OS, not a COS, so you won't find it your custom OS folder;
    you can find it at www.holdencrazy.com (thanks Tordne).

    Yes, copy each table from your current tune to your new 12212156
    (copy table-by-table using copy-with-labels and paste-with-labels;
    resolve any tables that are transposed, missing, or extra).
    Then full-flash your new 12212156 into your PCM.
    Read it back and save it into a file.
    Make sure your car runs (it should run as good as it did before this).
    Take some logs and verify that it runs good.

    Then full-flash COS3 or COS5, then cal-flash from your saved 12212156.
