    Default Trouble connecting

Whenever i try to connect using scan mode i get same error-no cable found.I have found if i connect usb to laptop an ddisconnect obd 2 connector at black box fire up laptop ,open scan software an connect it finds my flashscan cable and pops up a window saying preferred cable not set to flashscan would i like to set it now-say yes ,reconnect obd2 cable to black box and reconnect,it now works.I have set preferred cable to flashscan under properties but it seems to lose it when i exit software. This is a pain ,maybe blacky or someone could come up with a fix.

It would appear you have all the symptoms of the first 722 version with the (build 226).
What version have you got, if you only have the 722 loaded then you need to download the patch that is a available to fix the problem you are having.
Just follow the link for the patch.
    http://www.efilive.com/downloads/sof..._001_Patch.zip
This patch set contains patches: 001-001 inclusive.

    Installation instructions:
    Download the latest patch file.

Close both the EFILive Scan and Tune software packages.

Unzip the file into a temporary location.

    Patch 001

    Copy the extracted files:
    - obdiiV7.dll
    - EFILive_Tune.exe
into the Program Files\EFILive\V7 folder, replacing existing files of the same name.

Restart either (or both of) the Scan or Tune software packages.

After the patch has been installed, you should check that the following version numbers are available:
    Scan Tool V7.2.2 (Build 236)
    Tuning Tool V7.2.2 (Build 227)
    obdiiV7.dll: V7.2.2 (Build 374)
It's a lot easier to ask for forgiveness than it is to ask for permission.
