    Default GM cylinder/bank numbering

    Code:
               2 4 6 8 <--- bank 2
    Front <---
               1 3 5 7 <--- bank 1
Bank has the same number as the first cylinder on that bank.

so on an Aus rhd car that would be under the drivers bum?

Never one to not exploit a situation

Since my cat was repaired last week I've been logging the data. No matter what the condition etc the narrow band always reports around 450mv - there is slight alteration but its minimal

however bank one rides wildly from 0.1mv to 1.02 - is there a possible leak on bank one for it to fluctuate wildly whist bank 2 is fairly constant?

    Cheers Joe!

The front NBO2 voltage is supposed to fluctuate like that (except at WOT where it should stay above 900mV or so)...

If it doesn't, then either the sensor is bad, one or more wires are bad, or the connection is bad...

450mV sounds like it's not plugged in.

hmm it does fluctuate just not imensly - here is a log, its quite long but if you play it fast you see it hardly moves....

Oh yeah, the HO2S11 waveform is incorrect... might be an air leak.

They are supposed to cross the 450mV level several times per second.

cheers joe, question is where the leak may be. The old cat was cut out and a new cat welded in place. Of course they had to take the o2 out to do the job so maybe its not in too tight
