Cant read file From 2007 TBSS

Has anyone ever run into a problem reading a ecm in these trucks?? I tried to read a friend of mines truck and it gave me a bootloader reject (memory flash fault). I was thinking of unpluging the battery for a few minutes hoping the might reset it. Is there anything else I can do?

So far nobody has reported this same error.
If possible are you able to located the ECM and get the Service number from it (It will be a sticker on the bottom cover).

Well I finally got it to work after unpluggin battery...

That is odd. We have a check in the software to ensure we are dealing with the correct ECM / Flash chip type before attempting to read or program the ECM. You will see that come up when you read the ECM -

12:01:50.078: ECM ready for reading flash.
12:01:50.203: AMD AM29BDD160xB - 2Mb << Checked Flash Chip Type
12:01:50.203: CPU Type: MPC565 << Checked CPU / ECM Type

If the software for some reason could not gather that data from the ECM then it will not proceed.
