sts turbo tuning

first of all i would like to say hi, my name is brian and i own a 02 5.3 silverado. looking to drop in a sts turbo with 48# injectors soon, but im as beginer as they come when you talk about tuning.

now then, is there any advantage with the v2 over the v1? if so, how could i benfit?

thinking of going with efilive, but not sure if i'll be able to understand it well enough to 'fine tune' it myself.

ill be buying it from jess w/ w4me, and is hooking me up with a tune that will 'almost get me there' so.. any kind of help/suggestions would be great!

Brian, hi there and welcome to the forum.

V1: does black box logging, laptop is required for flashing.
V2: will do black box logging/flashing (not quite yet, but soon).

V1 is "sufficient" to tune a 2002 Silverado;
V2 is "advanced" and has advanced features for die-hards.

For most people, V2 has no advantages, and V1 is perfectly good.

If you don't understand tuning now, don't worry, you'll get to understand it quite well...
