    Default 98 F-body pcm in a 97 Vet

Is it possible to change the OS in a 98 pcm? The Vets use OS 19980200 and the F-bodys use OS 19980100.

Just open the file with the OS you want to load on to that PCM and do a full relash (the fat red arrow in the tool bar) of that OS. It should write it to your PCM

I tried that and it would not load because of the different OS.

Humm... You clicked on the fat red download arrow not the skinny one right? Also, you did select the right PCM type too right? (97/98 Gen III) Unless I'm mistaken, it shouldn't care what OS is in it, it should just write the new one over the top of it.

I tried to load it with the skinny arrow. I will try the fat one. Thanks for the reply.

Ya, that's your problem. The skinny arrow is a cal only reflash. The fat one is a full OS reflash.
