    Default 4L60E to 4L80E swap

    Hi guys,
been donkeys since I was here last.
Went to the States in July. One week after my return I blew up the 60E.
Decided to do the swap to the 80E...apparently no one has done this before in the OBS 4x4 5.7L Suburban.
Anyway...imported a trany from PA and rebuilt it...just for the hell of it...and the experience
Now I'm having a look at my tune and I'm wondering how I go about making the changes.
Do I just copy ever table from a tune of a vehicle with an 80E?
I looked in Holden Crazy and couldn't find anything running a 411 PCM and 5.7L with 4L80E.
Lextech sent me a copy of his TT truck tune and I just copied and pasted every table accross..is that right? He's using COS5 and I'm using COS3.

MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE

IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU'VE GOT AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.

You need to do the tranny segment swap. There is a 02 Silveado 6.0l that has the 80e on HoldenCrazy.

It doesn't matter what the motor is in the tune you find, it just needs to have the 80 and be the same operating system#. Then just do a trans segment swap and you should be good.

    Hey Howard,

You also have to move around a couple of pcm pins that go to the Big trans connector...Lextech probably already gave you that info, but if not let me know and I'll send you the schematics.

Thanks guys...yeah I have the wiring diagrams and that's easy enough.
I was more concerned with the tune side of it.
As I'm running Cos3, how do I do it?

Are you using COS3 for an '01 or '02 PCM?

COS3 for the 99+ with the 2001 Express van base.
I just made the segment swap using the file for the Silverado as Doc suggested.
    Seemed to work fine.
Can someone please check this for me?

    Thanks

The real test will be when you flash it in, if the truck runs and drives

That's weird, you should do a comparision with your old file and make sure all the engine parameters are where they should be. Sounds like it worked for the most part.
