Maybe it's normal because no one has mentioned it before?
    It could catch someone unawares.
If Paul can fix it so it doesn't do that it would be great.

Otherwise, so what you're saying Delco is I just need to copy and paste the tables from the COS section of my original tune into the new saved tune which I did the segment swap on?

IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU'VE GOT AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.

Hmmmm, just goes to show I should ask the experts before saying "it should not do that".

Although there is (supposed to be) a check during segment copies to exclude ALL data that is used by custom calibrations. That was specifically added about 2 years ago to prevent this exact situation. I will try and see why it is not working as designed.

    Regards

Didnt know you had tried to add that in Paul , it has never worked here anyway

simple matter of copying the custom calibrations back in then reflashing the PCM.

Ok guys...rather than start a new thread...thought I'd dig this one up again as it's part of the same mod.
Finally...after replacing my diff I can drive my Burb again.
I'm using the AutoVE tutorial again as I have also installed the Marine Manifold, elec fans and hydroboost braking system.
My problem is...truck seems to be almost unsure as to what gear to shift into.
Ie, when I'm turning a corner and try to accelerate...even gently the truck stutters.
Is there something I can/need to do during the AutoVE process to adjust the trany? As far as I know, this is the first 4L80E to ever be installed in an OBS 4x4 5.7L Burb.
    Thanks
    Howard
