    Default Cannot adjust speed limiter

On two consecutive trucks now I have set the speed limiter at 120 mph, and it still cuts of at 97 mph. One is an '07 new body style Silverado, and the other is an '07 new body style Avalanche. Both with 5.3s. What am I doing wrong? Is this a known problem or am I missing something? Thanks!

Thanks for the response. I will experiment this morning and if I figure it out I will post what it is. I have the truck on a lift but I had to pull the ABS fuse before I could spin it to 97 mph. Even with TC and Stabilitrac off, it was grabbing at the tires at 20 mph.

hey guys, I am new to tuning. I am also experiencing the same problem, I put it on ECM and have set all the values to 500 and it is still limited to 97 mph.
If you guys could help I would greatly appreciate.
