    Default MAF removal question

this is a newb ? I have been reading about the COS's and most of them remove the MAF. but in a auto trans vehicle doesnt the MAF play a role in the trans shifting? I thought I read it someplace but I cant find it again. what can be done for the auto trans when you remove the MAF?

There is P0101 , P0102 , and P0103 trans pressure modifiers that need to be turned off to prevent harsh shifting but that is about it .
Look in the AutoVE tutorial toward the last of the basic instructions and it details the correct DTC section I think it is E0104 .
