The injectors stick at times and cause misfires. If you have the engine out or not fully wired in, it is easy to do now. If it is for a customer, do you want to have it return? How many years old are these injectors? At 240 bucks for a complete new set and regulator (that was prone to leaking) it is cheap insurance for peace of mind.

If it has been sitting along time I would replace It but if it hasn't then I would try it.

The car will turn over but it is not getting any gas. They are getting spark though im thinking its this injector issue since they have still not replaced it. Is there anything else you guys think it might be though? The pump is working correctly and they are getting good fuel pressure. Prob best to start out with the new reg/inj then go from there you think?

    Thanks,

Also check all the injector circuits with a noid light.

Question: is VATS entering into this...?

No VATS I dont think its a junkyard ECM out of a Blazer 6cylinder. Its what the painless harness called for and it has an aftermarket column.
Ill have to pick up a noid light I dont have one.
This thing was soo messed up the owner had someone else do the frame and the motor. Well the flex plate was on backwards and they grinded the weights off lol.

Hey thanks for all the info guys but they got it running today he told me the timing was out 180 degrees. Doh lol well at least its running now this thing was a nightmare a lot of issues where someone started the work. There was not even a bolt holding the harmonic balancer on .

Cool... ...I love it when a car does start...!

So your crank sensor is reading of a balancer mounted reluctor wheel...?

I think he said the dist was off 180 and the crank sensor is on the outside of the timing cover so I think it is reading off the balancer. The motor is just like 5.7 vortec that would come in a 98 silverado I think everything is stock parts on it.
