I am looking at buying a used RR PCM, the 1mb one that matches my truck sooo. From reading that i need to get the following:

FlashScan Serial number (from oiwners V1 or V2???)
RR Serial number (From the PCM???)
matching registration key (For EFI Live or RR???)

BTW, I have a V2 if that makes any difference.

Answering the questions, Yes on everything (serial/registration numbers/keys from everything).

After you obtain all that info, forward that info to EFILive.

RR works with both of V1 and V2.

I didn't know the 1MB RR worked... before you buy it can you get the seller to demonstrate it working to you.

Craig Moates has discontinued the 1MB RR:

Previously, there were Roadrunner versions available for LB7, 1024k ECMs and 98 ECMs. These have been discontinued. If you are confident that you can make it work for one of these applications, you can buy a “guts kit” and fit it yourself. (Or pay us to install it) Again, these applications have been officially discontinued – we cannot guarantee that it will work.
