I noticed also when playing around in the EFIlive folders that there is a "Error Log File" , it has several entries , is it ok to remove those or do they need to stay ?

What is the folder and file name of the file that you mean?

P.S. You can clear out the *.blx files in the Bug Reports folder at any time.

The *.blx files contains a trace of all the comms between the laptop and the vehicle during a read (upload) and during a flash (download).
The files are date/time stamped in the filename and can be sent to EFILive if ever there is a problem reading or flashing a controller.

If you are not experiencing any problems they can be deleted periodically.

You can also un-check the following option to prevent the files being created: Properties->Options->Always Save *.blx files.
If this is unchecked only the most recent blx file will be retained.
Note: In that case, if a flash fails and you attempt to flash it again then you will have lost an important piece of information that may have helped us to help you to save your PCM.

Also, when you select File->Generate error report, in the Scan Tool the error report is usually saved in the BUg Reports folder.

    Regards
    Paul

Thank you very much for that info , I believe I will leave as is for now and just clear the "Bug Reports" folder myself every once in a while .
