When adding electric fans to a 2007 trailblazer SS I have heard that you need to send the PCM and TCM in for a "patch". What exactly is this patch? Is there any way to control the fans with tuning and adding new pins like the older PCMs?

Umm, pretty sure you dont have to do anything except patch it in EFILive. You do need to know what wires to tap though.
