Default Where is the support? I mean AutoVE tutorial for th LS2 E40

There are specific tutorials for the LS1 and the new vitrual VE for the E38.

    What about the E40?

    Hi Gelf,
Old thread but same frustration. Can you link me to your howto work on the E40? It would help ease my pain and frustration no end as I'm trying to tune a heavily cam'd VXR.

    Thanks,
    Daniel

Ive repaired the broken link to the old tutorial

    Have you retained the MAF?

I found a better method of tuning the E40 simultaneous VE and MAF, I always found LTFTs never settled close to zero using the above method.

You also need to advance your EOI (end of injection) timing for your new cam IVO (inlet valve opens), the difference between stock and new, to avoid injecting with the inlet valve open.

    Hi Gelf,
    Thanks for the link!

I am running maf less due to an OTR. Thanks for the tip on EOI, I hadn't read that anywhere yet so I would have missed it. I have higher flow injectors fitted so the injector pulse will be quite short, probably shorter than stock, which will aid this particularly at high rpm. I will read up and see how I get on this weekend.

    Thanks,
