In-laws, brother and sister are the closest for me... All down in San Diego.

y aunt in San diego had to evacuate there homes on Monday, sounds like there fence was burnt up but the home never ignited. That is some really helpless hopeless stuff going on!

Yeah, it's pretty bad.

I think we had a workmate hit, he's not responding to emails, so he's evacuating his family.

I hope everyone is ok.

Fires are about 5 miles from my work in south Or. Co.
Middle of day is like twilight/evening, almost no sun, ash/smoke fallout everywhere.

Update from the in-laws: Their house is right at a pinch point between the very large witch fire and the very large harris fire. The witch fire is about 1.5 miles to the north and the harris is visible to the south... They've been staying at a hotel at night, but returning to the house during the day.

Man I really wish the could be contained, it is getting really scary down there from seeing all the news. Hope everyone stays safe.
