Default Just made an interesting find

I'm playing around with my truck and I find a jet performance "programmable PCM" plugged in between my computer and on of the main plug ins. Should I leave it installed?

I would recommend to uninstall it. EFI_Live can do much better than a piggy back device.

Pull it off before you start messing with your tune, it changes the signals to trick the PCM into thinking certain values are low and then the PCM adds timing, lowers shift times, etc. Just pull it off and do it the right way with EFILive inside the the PCM.

Rip it out and throw it as far as you can!
You'll probably hear it hit the pile of jet crap everyone else has done the same with!

YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T
MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE
    DUCT TAPE.
IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU'VE GOT AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.

I think I should have been more specific with my question. I was worried I might damage something if I took it out with out changing my tune. I did un-install it and uploaded an older concervitave tune till I get some more time.
