Bouncing off rev limiter
I have 2000 trans am, I used to use the hypertech, but since i got efi live, only about a week ago, i've started from stock. I've been messing with this off and on for a few days now. I changed the rearend gears from 2.73 to 3.23 and have 2800 stall converter. My problem is at WOT I just bounce it off the rev limiter in 1-2 and 2-3 shift. It started when i when through the process of changing my rearend gear ratio. I put in the tire info and the gears i have. Then it changed my tranny shiftpoints by around -12% i think. Then that is when I noticed it hitting the rev limiter. First, I decreased my upshift rpm to 5400 rpm. Then I put that back to 5900, because that is where it was at, and upped my rev limiter to 6500, but it still won't upshift at WOT cleanly. It'll bounce off it a couple times til i let off the gas then it'll go. Does anyone know or could give me a few tips or suggestions... I've looked on the forum and have not found too much helpful. I appreciate the help guys.
