Any word on when EFI Live will support the GM 3.8L V-6 (L32 supercharged) engines? Last post said it should be sometime in 2007.

I'm also very interested in this. EFILive can handle all of my fuel injected vehicles except for the 3800 powered onese. I'd hate to buy the "other" software just to tune those, when I feel that EFILive is a superior product, and should be well up to the task. Addition of this support would be greatly appreciated. Complete 96+ support for L36/L67 and L26/L32 would be excellent!

many thanks to Ross and Paul
Since I started this thread I will ask the question again. Can we get an update from EFI Live/Administrators on when/if EFI Live will support the GM 3800 L36/L67 motors? I need to program for a few changes and would love to use one of my licenses for this but cannot wait much longer.

Whoo, hoo!, 4 users , just kidding.
If / when we do the V6's it will be months off, not weeks. We did make a start on them, we can read all 1996 - 2008 3.8L PCM's in our development programs. Flashing them would be no major hurdle either, but, mapping them, adding them in to the software is still a lot of work, we will get there eventually. I thought I had made it clear support for these motors are not a priority for us right now, please don't be offended by that, but as Donald Trump would say, "It's just business".
If you can hang out then it should be worthwhile but if you need tuning right now!, then you probably will need to look elsewhere.
Cheers,
Ross

That's not the answer I was looking for, but at least it is honest. I gotta respect that. Keep up the good work.

Well, the 2005-2008 PCM is the first one we will be supporting, currently the software can load a file from one of these (off disk, not out of the PCM), know what it is etc, we can read and program them in our development software.
If you can wait then it's only going to cost you $99 rather than buying a whole new product.
Cheers,
Ross

any updates on this?
My teeth are grinding in anticipation. I know it's hard work. But... think of all those poor Fiero's and Grand prix's out there with 3800 Series II/III motors...
