    Default Newbie 383 stroker question

    Hey guys,
Newbie here. Got a 96 chevy with the 0411 VCM with an '01 OS and a 383 Stroker with a 218 224 cam. I'm having problems with it not wanting to Idle in and out of gear. I moved the idle rpms up to 850. I know that there is a difference with the 383 being a larger motor, and that it needs different timing and more air and fuel. The LTFT's are reading -8 at idle and part throttle it is -22. What do you guys think I start with first on getting the engine to idle properly, and then any opinions on the LTFT? I ordered a inovative wide band LC1 should be getting it next week sometime. Thanks for any input.

you really need a wideband before you can start with fueling.
bump your idle to 950 rpm.
post up your tune if it is not stock, if stock then what year/OS.
