Default L-trims positive after AutoVe tune?

Just finished tuning the VEmap in a 6.0 with cam and headers using the AutoVe tuning method. After 6-7 runs I had all the cells .99 to 1.01. Then I loaded this map back into normal tune with maf and closed loop operation. Logged some and the AFR stays right around the 14.7 in closed loop and at WOT (open loop) it is 12.8 to 13.0 which I think is pretty good. My question is in closed loop why do the ltrims always stay positve 10 to 15 (I know it is adding fuel to maintain the 14.7)? What is the best method for adjusting to get them to -4 to -5?

Did you re-calibrate/ AutoTune the MAF table in Open Loop after completing the VE table?

Yep, disable the trims again and setup the MAF BEN map and log and tune the MAF calibration table. You'll be right on then.

Is there a tutorial on how to set up a MAF ben map? On how to do the tuning of the MAF?

No tutorial needed. Open your pre configured MAP page and select the pre-made MAF Ben table (with your brand of WB02) and apply the same principles you used to Autotune the VE table.

I recently had the same problem....I got exactly the same results....

My mistake was that I did the whole AUTO VE thing, but....forgot to unplug the MAF and I can only assume that I auto VE'd the damn thing with the MAF input.

    DUH

    That was my screw up!

Thanks for the tip but I am Pretty sure the MAF was disabled because I added a disconnect in the signal wire so the IAT could be retained. Did you have to adjust your MAF any?

When I go to the preconfigured maps and select MAF-BEN map for my FJO wideband it does not display anything. Checked properties and the file seems to be ligit.

Any thought why nothing comes up?

Mine won't either, pull up the map for the PLX and then change the data parameter to the FJO. That should get you set.
