    Hi All

I need assistance in acquiring the right equipment. The backround informations is as follows: I am installing a LS1 and 4L60E into a Toyota Landcruiser. I currently have an ECU from a 1998 Camaro, however the motor that I am wanting to run has been purchased from Turnkey Engine Supplies and the exact specs of the motor are unknown. They claim that it is a 390 HP motor.

I am currently considering getting the EFILive Flashscan V2 and Roadrunner plus the LC1 wideband O2. The immediate questions that I need assistance with is do I stick with the 1998 ECU or do I look for a later model (1999+) ECU.

Forgive me if this is a silly questions, but I am sure there are going to be many more from me.

    Thanks

    Don't even consider the 98!

YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T
MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE
    DUCT TAPE.
IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU'VE GOT AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.

I would go with a 99-02 ECU. Lot's more tuning options available for those years.

I.D the motor first. Make sure its an LS1 and not LS2. Or make sure you have the right type of ecm for the motor you have.

Your command of fueling with the 98's is going to be very limited at best. I would look for a 99-02 pcm and harness.
