    Default Flagging/marking a section of a log???

Is it possible to flag a spot in a log whilst driving? Say...hit the space bar whilst the car is doing something in particular you want to find easily later?

Sorry Paul...don't mean to give people idea's to harrass you with

YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T
MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE
    DUCT TAPE.
IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU'VE GOT AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.

Yes, pressing 1-9 during the log will add a flag

    Thanks very much.
I went searching again and found that in a thread on the 'wish list'.

What differences does it make as to which number I push...I've been using 1 only?

If your just pushing 1, I believe that every time you push it, it moves that marker from where it was to the spot where you pressed it. For multiple notes, I think you would have to use different numbers, but I could be wrong, I haven't used it much.

    No...when I push 1 it places a new marker.
I might try pushing 2 (if I dare Lol!) and see what happens.

Each numeric key places it's own marker.

How do the markers show up as different from one another?

I think you could set up the marker (1) to stand for areas of knock, (2) could be misfires, (3) could be a desired tranny shift point, (4) could be blah blah blah, etc. Then you know what you're looking for, based on the marker #.
