Default Anyone lower the B0120 - RPM Threshold for Airflow Calculation (MAF)

Has anyone lowered the RPM threshold for Airflow Calculation in there tune?

The reason why I ask is becuase I can only VE tune up to ~3200rpm, due to the 3.42 gears, so I have a little bit of a gap. The only time I am in the 3200+ range is when I am in PE anyways, so I figure that if I lower the threshold down to ~3400 I should be good. Currently I have the VE dialed in and the MAF, however the gap between ~3200-4000 is kinda noticeable. And before anyone askes, "Yes" I do have a Wideband.....

Anyone know of any ill effects if I lower the threshold?

Sorry for being dense but what "gap" are you talking about?

The 'Gap' I was referring to was between 3200 and 4000. Since I can't tune the VE table between 3200 and 4000 due to gearing (I would be doing 90+ in 3rd), So that area of my VE table is untuned...... So if I lower the threshold the MAF will control fueling after 3200... Make sense?

So can you post up a log of the "un-commanded" region you are talking about?

The only logs I have go up to 3200, hence the problem. I can't safely get into 3200+ range while AutoVE tuning. I am thinking if I set my PE RPM bypass to ~3200 and just tune the MAF in PE, I think I will be fine.

Not sure what you mean by "Un-Commanded"?

    To answer your question, I don't know. I don't utilize a MAF.

Why not do 60 in 2nd to get you in that range?

Yes, you can. Using the LS1/LS6 Control Panel in the Bidirectional Menu. If this option is greyed out when you are logging, open the panel before you start to log. Can force the TCC to lock there as well.

Otherwise, if you hold the truck in 2nd gear, it shouldn't shift up out of it.

I will have to try that. Honestly I never thought about keeping it in second, I figured it would stress out the tranny. I do however keep it in 3rd to get up to 3200.
