I updated to 7.5.1 When I restarted windows on BOTH of my PCs I received a runtime error From EFILive. I think this was the automatice update process being set up but it failed.

Is there a manual way to set the auto updates in Scan or Tune?

Oh come on. Surely I'm not the only person this happened to? Surely? Desktop is XP Home & laptop is XP Pro.

If I remember correctly there was an icon in the lower right side of the task bar. When I right-clicked(?) it opened and I set up the update day & time. Then it was gone.
Maybe you could remove the startup application by running MSCONFIG and then just update by running the updater manually.

There should be a menu items in the EFILive program group to configure (Start->Programs->EFILive V7.5->Tools) to configure and manually check for updates.
