Paul,
I really like the automatic updates. It's a great feature for EFI.
I was going to download updates for my dedicated laptop but after the auto download I went ahead and made switching cables more accessible.
Thanks
Joe

i really hate automatic updates, thanks to them my laptop is slow and there's little memory left. can i just ignore it and download files the old fashioned way?
Sure, it's available now, but this is not a complicated file and unwanted parts can easily be eliminated. In fact more easily than with the manual download.Originally Posted by redhardsupra
By the way, I dumped Norton and went to McAfee and got all my speed back.
