I was going to load a new tune for the first time in our 01 5.3L 1/2 ton and noticed the years are only for 99-00. Can you tune an 01?

Unless I'm missing something, all 5.3L engines in GM pickups have the LS1-style PCM and they are certainly supported. I think the confusion lies in the "Vortec" name. All 5.3s are Vortecs, but not all Vortecs are 5.3s.
