Default Throttle area conversion from 78mm to 90mm.

What is the correct Throttle Area Conversion for a 90mm TB? I think stock it is .2xx. I was running .320 but I read it was .330 some where else. So what is the correct number to put in that table? I don't have the table number in front of me but I can post it up later if no one knows what I am talking about.

This was in another post about resizing TB. I don't remember which and can't find it right now.

The attachment won't open. It says it is corrupted. So if you could find the number I would really appreciate it.

    Thanks,

According to the spreadsheet the increase should be 133%.

I used .0330 for 402 ci and .0355 for 427/441. I think all you are really doing is cracking the TB blade for idle., but it works if you need it.

    2000 C5 Coupe, 6M, Callies/Mahle stroked LS7 (441), Blackwing, Halltech, LS3 intake, 90mm Shaner TB, ported L92 heads, FAST 50# inj, not too much cam, Kooks 1 7/8" headers , 3" catless mid pipes, Z TIs, track suspension, , 3:90 rear, EFI V2, LM-2, etc.

Thanks. That is what I was looking for. I actually think it was one of your posts that I was reading that gave me the .0330. I am running a pretty big cam for my 383 so it is demanding air. I will mess with that and see what happens.

I will also do the math for 133% and see what that comes up to.

    Thanks guys.
