    Default Speed Cal Questions

I've done some searching, and something is not making sense.

    I have a '08 Suburban L76 6.0 and a 4L70E.

    Vehicle has a E38 and a T42. 4.10 rear, 285/60-18 tires.

I am running the speedo calculator as I have changed tires. What I have noticed is that the calc wants to change H0104 drastically; it was 404 from the factory, and calc wants to make it 1632. How was it this wrong?

Can you send the *.tun file to me at paul@efilive.com and I'll take a look.

Looks like a bug in the speedo calculator. It seems like only the metric settings for the speedo calculator were tested.
    See image.

It works ok in metric. You can change the settings for the speedo calculator to metric using menu option: Edit->Configure display units..., then set the Metric radio button at the bottom/center of the window.

It will be fixed in the next release.

This still isn't making sense to me.

    Shouldn't H0104 be 2624 (640 tire revs/mile * 4.10 final)?

Yes, and welcome to the bizare world of speedo configuration. Try setting the values to what makes sense mathematically. It may work, it may not.

    Same issue. 2006 GTO
I put 3.91 gears in to replace the stock 3.46. I then adjusted my tune.
    Tables:H0103, H0122, H0125 all read 3.91

The speedo still seems off. I added 19" tires vs the stock 17" tires but with the profile change they are the same height as stock. What does H0135 do?

What tables am I missing? I will email you the tune if that would help. I read in this forum that there was an issue with the speedo cal but that was over a year ago. I am running version 7.5.3 build 36

    OS: 12603159
    Cal: 12603390
    OS ID: AB
    BCC: YMMY

Thanks for any idea in advance

    Chris
