    G'day vxleather,

    Welcome to the forum...

As Shannon/SV8346 said, there's lots of reading:
    - scantool and tunetool help pdf's (press F1 in each tool);
    - LS1 PCM document: http://carprogrammer.com/Z28/PCM/LS1/Holden_LS1.pdf
    - AutoVE tutorial: http://www.efilive.com/download.aspx#downloads7
    - other tutorials: http://www.efilive.com/download.aspx#downloads6
    - forum tutorials: http://forum.efilive.com/showthread.php?t=2990
    - posts by forum members with lots of useful/helpful information...

I think you will not be disappointed, there's no lack of information.

    Cheers,
    Joe

Strangely enough though...I've found there's very little info on getting started with the RR and RTACS.

YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T
MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE
    DUCT TAPE.
IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU'VE GOT AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.

    Howard,

You're right, there should be more info, and existing info should be collected together and made presentable...

I figured he could start by understanding how the base processes work first, and then jumping into RR/RTACS.

    Cheers,
    Joe

    You're right Joe,
I guess I was just trying to save him some time searching.
I reckon I've read every thread in the whole forum.....6 times (some more) Lol!
It's only through help from members that I have been able to learn to use the RR.
It would be disappointing to have spent so much money and not have any idea how to use it.

Thankx for the help guys, most happy to read anything you can suggest to get started, I have printed out the tutorials of the actual EFi live demo versions. Nothing realy on there about the RR...

Anyway my plan is learn to build a tune from scratch. I think to start with i will need to use a base tune to learn the basic then go back and build my own tune once understanding the cause and effect of each area of the motor and the relavante tables that effect these area's.

Keep the info coming most happy to read and listen..

    Welcome to the forum vxleather.
Have a look on the holdencrazy site for tune files. You will be able to download modified files that others have done to help give you an idea on the necessary adjustments needed.
