    Default TTi Stage 1 Question/DIY Tuning

    Do you guys who work on your own tunes:
    (preliminary mod info: TTi Stage 1, Ramdom Tech High Flow Cats, large single BOV one of only a few, running a quart of Torco per tank to eliminate a couple degrees KR)
    1. Turn off the after CAT O2 sensors?
    2. With the after CAT 02 sensors turned off, would this be considered 'open loop' or will the pre-CAT O2 sensors make it 'closed loop'? (curiosity question)
    3. What AFR do you try to achieve for your street tune?
    4. How lean do you tune for race events?
    5. With my setup, would going to AutoTune, MAFless SpeedDensity, and a WB O2 sensor be worth the effort/expense? (note: not really looking to go over 500RWHP/RWTQ, if I can get there with this setup)

    Yep or Simms

    Can still be closed Loop or Open depending on what you want

    3. What AFR do you try to achieve for your street tune?

    Cruise 14.7 WOT 12.8

    4. How lean do you tune for race events?

    12.8

    Closed loop uses the pre-cat O2S's; you can opt to run closed loop or open loop in the .tun.

    The after-cat O2S's are for testing the cats' operation.

    Without the sheets in front of me, I seem to remember numbers like:

    160 +- rwhp gain
    180 +- rwtq gain

    If you want it more exact I would have to dig up the dyno sheets from the install...

    From what Mike at Xtreme has told me, my kit makes a little more power than most TTi Stage 1 kits they have installed so these numbers might be a little off.
