    Default new to efi live

    I'm new to efi and need help.I want to put a tune in a buddys truck.It's an 07 6.0l 4l80e.the tune here makes the truck run like an electric fork lift.no throttle at all.would appreciate any and all help..thanks

    What modifications have been made to the engine? What are you trying to achieve with the tune? How does it run with th estock tune?

    Welcome to the forum ilov2xlr8!

    And electric fork lift doesn't sound good. We should be able to help get you on your way, but as dfe1 has pointed out, we will need some additional info.

    it runs great with the stock tune.we are trying to get better millage out of the truck.it is 100%stock with about 5700 miles on it.now he is getting about 8.5 mpg,on stock tune.I would like to see more power across the board,low throttle,&wot.thanks a million!!

    Man those 6.0L in the trucks get lousy gas mileage .
    These guys on here will get you straightened out in no time though .
    Aggressive DFCO helps some .
    2005 1500 HD , Custom OS3 SD tune .
    2006 Trailblazer

    Everything looks reasonable in the tun file you posted. I changed the DFCO settings to bring it in quicker. Give that a try and see if it helps. Also, smooth out the VE table and monitor the long term fuel trims-- make sure they stay between 0 and -4%. Once you get that done, play with the timing at cruise and idle. You might also experiment with shift points. The curves look decent, but I don't know what kind of load the truck is under during light accel.
