Default LS2 GTO timing for N2O

I've been "told" that for a 100hp wet shot the LS2 GTO timing tables can be left stock. I already swapped to TR6 plugs which are a step colder.
What do you guys think of this theory? I am thinking of pulling 1-2 degrees for the test runs. Stock timing just seems too high, but I'm not a strong tuner.
    Thoughts?

We pulled some timing and changed some shift points on a GTO Automatic, the guy is a pretty die hard Nitrous user, and quite happy with the car, he made a sick Wet direct port tapped in the middle of a stock LS2 intake (think he was spraying a 150 shot. Hit me with a PM with your email and I will send you the tune. He has put a H/C package on it and I get to tune that next!
