I have a 01 suburban, 5.3 LM7 engine. I was trying to reflash to correct speedo and it would bring up gen3 ecm. when i would try to reflash it would say no responce from ecm. You guys have anything for me to try?

Are you sure you selected 99-08 LS1 and not 97-98?

Obviously, it doesn't know, or it's confused. Try downloading the data that's currently in the PCM, and when it provides you with an opportunity to enter the type of PCM, select 99+ or 99-08 LS1 (can't remember which way it comes up) and see what happens. If it links up and downloads without a problem, it should upload fine.
